“The wild-child niece of former Veep Joe Biden stole more than $100,000 in a credit card scam — and quietly cut a plea deal in Manhattan court that spares her any jail time, The Post has learned.
Using a borrowed credit card, the blonde Caroline Biden set up an unauthorized customer account at Bigelow Pharmacy on Sixth Avenue in Greenwich Village, and racked up the six-figure bill over the course of a year, according to a criminal complaint that does not name the victim card owner.” – NY Post
This of course comes after her first arrest which happened back in 2014. When she told police that they were making a huge mistake by arresting her. She was charged with resisting arrest, obstruction of justice, and harassment charges involving her roommate.
She was acquitted of all charges.
“In that case, the silver-spoon Georgetown University graduate was accused of taking a swing at a female cop who responded in Sept. 2013 to a drag out fight over unpaid rent between Biden and her roommate.
“I shouldn’t be handcuffed!” cops said Biden railed at the time. “You don’t know who you’re doing this to!”
She was given another sweetheart deal in that case: a promise that the charges would be dismissed if she stayed out of trouble for six months.
The charges were eventually dismissed and sealed.
Biden didn’t even have to show up in court to get that deal — her then-lawyer James Liguori told another Manhattan judge that she was serving her second rehab stint at Caron Renaissance Ocean Drive, a posh inpatient facility in Delray Beach, Fla.” – NY Post
She swung at a cop, and the charges were dropped without her showing up in court.

Call it what you want, white privilege, political privilege, economic privilege, but it is 100% not normal to attempt to assault an officer and get off with a 6 month ACOD and then eventual dismissal of all charges.
You know what happens to black people in Manhattan when they have a drug problem and swing at a cop? And their uncle isn’t Joe Biden?
They get held in Rikers for 300 days with no trial.
Both of these instances, 100k credit card scam as well as the assault, are felonies. She was given lower charges because of who she is and those lower charges were eventually dropped because of who she is. That is a fact. And everyone from the Judge to you knows it. But we just live with it.
We all just accept that some people don’t have to play by the rules. While at the same time Judge’s will throw the book at a random person to “make an example of them”.
This is not an anti-democrat post. This is a general reminder that we have to follow rules while “the elites” can try to punch cops and go home that same night.

Given the current racially charged climate I was debating on whether I should report on this. Ultimately, at the risk of being called insensitive, I have decided that this has nothing to do with race.
A woman was choked, dragged into the bushes of a park, raped, robed, all at 3pm in the middle of Manhattan. In broad daylight.
That is absolutely terrifying.
How did no one see? Why were there no officers or people around to hear this woman scream?
NYPD still has not found the suspect and are encouraging anyone with information to reach out to their TIPS line.
As a woman living in NYC, these stories scare me. And I want them shared. Despite the current climate. Because once again, this is not about race.
This is about criminals. Criminals come in all shapes and colors. This one happened to be black. There will be a white one tomorrow. The race is irrelevant, the point is criminals are out there. And dancing around talking about it because it may be insensitive to a specific race is ABSURD when women are being assaulted.
Fight for police reform fine, but this stuff happens. And it’s not about race. We need more foot traffic from police officers in the NYPD not defunding strategies.
Absolutely no excuse for this to have happened in the most densely populated city in America.
New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made a lot of noise this week after she accused press secretary Kayleigh McEnany of being racist. AOC claimed that McEnany assumed she was just an adviser to Biden “because she was a woman of color.”

Ok AOC take a chill pill. Are you out of your mind? You REALLY think that Kayleigh McEnany doesn’t know who you are? Just going to jump to the conclusion that Kayleigh McEnany is racist? Literally EVERYONE knows who you are. Whether they want to or not. So if this was an ego thing about your title, take my word for it you are well known.
If AOC wanted to say that she was ignored, that I would maybe buy. But McEnany not being able to identify you of all people in a small room, and then on top of that say she assumed you were an advisor because you aren’t white, that’s a bit of a stretch. Stop increasing the divide when your own city is rioting. We need things to cool off.
If you actually believe that Kayleigh McEnany is racist, and you were treated differently because you are a person of color, then just look at the official White House transcript from the press conference. Maybe you just misheard her AOC.
It didn’t take long for Kayleigh McEnany to clap back at AOC over Twitter.
So at first when I read it, I thought maybe she did actually leave out her Congresswoman title. But when you read it in full it is very clear that she identifies that she is about to name a few Congresswoman in the room, and then proceeds to name AOC.
So when she grouped the congresswoman together, she likely said “most notably Biden advisor AOC” because she is the loudest congresswoman on the topic of defunding the police. Which was the topic at the time.

But the story here is I actually did think AOC might be in the right when I read the first report. Kayleigh McEnany is notably candid and the idea of her accidentally saying something out of bounds in a discussion related to race is very plausible. Clearly that wasn’t the case however.
After reading the transcript though you can see that while AOC may have heard it that way, it was not Kayleigh McEnany being racist. Condescending maybe, but this was not about skin color.
So to put it as simply as possible. AOC, who is the campaign manager for Joe Biden, called McEnany racist for calling her Joe Biden’s campaign manager.
Like I said before, Kayleigh McEnany is off the cusp a lot. You might have had your opportunity to highlight an actual racist comment but you gotta pick your battles AOC. Going forward read the transcripts from the conference BEFORE you send out your tweets accusing racism.
Because when stuff like this happens, you just alienate people. You are a congresswoman at a very young age of 30 years old, making close to 200K a year, how is it that the White House Press Secretary is still getting you insecure. You’re the one actually in a position of power. McEnany is just up there defending tweets. Jumping to a conclusion like that makes it seem that’s how you perceive yourself, in a position that is a lot for you. And not in a race way, just in a your a 30 year old congresswoman way. AOC if you want to stay in this game you’ll have to learn less is more most of the time. Take your incumbency and ride out 3 terms like every other NY rep.
Either way we know AOC will either double-down or ignore it. And honestly, I respect it.
There has been a constant theme in the day trading world since Coronavirus started. Experienced, sometimes career traders, have been raking in money from the influx of inexperienced 20 year old kids downloading Robinhood. They do no research, impulsively buy, and they panic sell. A dream “bull” for anyone who shorts stocks. And AMC stock might be the dream put.
Just a constant up and down. Day traders buy shorts, Robinhooders think “oh wow AMC is only $4”, then they run out of day trades and get aniliated in after-hours. Next day a new set of Robinhood victims will come in. A constant rinse and repeat.
So if you know what you are doing. You could actually make money on both ends of this stock if done properly.
But here is why AMC stock will be a short sell or if you don’t do options, it’s a stock that you should stay far far away from.
Just look at the earnings, move theaters were failing way before COVID even came into the picture.

This walkout from the Atlanta Police Department obviously comes in the wake of the Rayshard Brooks shooting.

Breaking down the most competitive races in the 2020 Senate Election
There are 35 seats up for re-election in the 2020 Senate Elections. Of those 35, 17 are considered “safe for the incumbent party”. Meaning they won’t have to campaign much, house hold names that kind of just get re-voted back into their seat. The Bill Cassidy and Corey Booker types.
Of those 17, only 4 or 5 are considered true toss-ups.
Current Senate Membership
Even though only 4 or 5 seats are likely to flip parties, these upcoming 2020 Senate Elections are going to be the most influential Senate Elections in recent history.
For starters, the Senate party split is relatively close right now. 53 Republicans and 47 Democrats. Republicans have a solid control, but with 4 or 5 seats being determined toss-ups, the Democrats only need 3 or 4 seats to gain control of the Senate.
I say only 3 or 4 seats because in the event of a 50/50 split in the Senate, The Vice President becomes the tie breaker vote. So essentially in the case of a tie it will depend on whether a Democrat or Republican wins the presidential race.

Which brings us to the second reason why the 2020 Senate elections are crucial. We don’t even know who the president will be next term, so the GOP doesn’t know exactly how many seats it has to defend to assure control of the Senate. Nor does the DNC know how many they need. If Trump were to lose the general election and the republicans also lost the senate it would be open season for the democrats.

The 2020 Senate Elections in Arizona are special elections, due to the death of John McCain while he was holding office.
“Sen. John McCain held his seat in the Senate for nearly 32 years. After McCain’s death Saturday, it will fall to Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey to name his successor.
State law gives Ducey, a Republican, the power to fill the Senate vacancy for the next two years, until a special election is held in 2020 to select a person to complete the final two years of McCain’s term. The seat will then be up again for a full six-year term in the 2022 election. Arizona law also stipulates that the appointee must be from McCain’s party.” – Politico
The GOP is extremely concerned about this seat. There is not a lot of confidence in the party towards Martha McSally. And for good reason. Martha McSally was available to fill in John McCain’s seat because she had lost her election in 2018 to a democrat. And turned over a senate seat that the GOP had for over 24 years.
The Democratic Candidate – Mark Kelly
Mark Kelly, everyone’s favorite new candidate. Engineer, ex-astronaut, and former U.S. Navy Captain. His wife (Gabby Giffords) is also a former U.S. Representative.
Mark Kelly is extremely like-able across just about any demographic, and easy is an easy candidate to market as an American Hero (which he is).
“The most recent poll of Arizona’s Senate race, released Tuesday by Civiqs, gave Kelly a nine-point advantage over McSally. It was run by the left-wing news site The Daily Kos, but Fox News’ poll released June 3 gave Kelly a 13-point lead. And as CBS News’ Alexander Tin reported Wednesday via Kantar ad tracking, Kelly has bought nearly $10 million in future ad reservations while McSally has reserved $0 worth.” – Source
It’s fair to point out that McSally has not received the official bid yet, so it does make sense she has a budget of $0.
As impressive as the resume is, Mark Kelly has no actual legislative or executive leader experience.
Our Prediction For the Alabama 2020 Senate Election
Martha McSally will narrowly win this race. Governor Doug Ducey, the one who first appointed Martha McSally, is expected to endorse her. Mark Kelly is a fun candidate and will build a lot of hype and give McSally a run for her money (literally), but in the end not enough people will be willing to take the risk on Mark Kelly.
4. Alabama – Incumbent: SenatorDoug Jones (Democrat)
When Jeff Sessions was appointed by President Trump to be attorney general, a special election was held in Alabama to decide who would fill his spot.
With smear campaigns that were so theatrical and viscous they will be remembered forever, the special election between Doug Jones and Roy Moore was historic. In the end, Senator Doug Jones edged out Roy Moore by a margin of 1.7%. Putting a democrat in an Alabama Senate seat for the first time since 1992.
The Republican Candidate(s) – Jeff Sessions or Tommy Tuberville
Both Jeff Sessions and Tommy Tuberville have advanced to the runoff. One of the two will be selected to be the Republican candidate in the 2020 Senate Election.
We all know who Jeff Sessions is. But who is Tommy Tuberville?
Tommy Tuberville is an ex-college football coach. Most known for his years coaching at Auburn and Texas Tech. Including a 13-0 season with Auburn. I’m not entirely sure if that is relevant.
As far as executive experience goes, he was president of the American Football Coaches Association. That’s pretty much the end of the resume. There is obviously no voting record of his to go off of, all we have are his campaign efforts to judge him. The state of Alabama must like him though. Considering he made it all the way to the run-off.
The GOP will likely end up nominating Jeff Sessions. There would be no reason not to. He would have held the seat and won the incumbency if he was never called to be attorney general. The only reason Doug Moore won is because Roy Moore is kind of a nut. A little too right-wing for many conservatives. Plus allegations that surfaced right before the election did not help Roy Moore.
Jeff Sessions, although running as an incumbent would be a lot safer, definitely has a chance at taking back this Senate seat.
Unless Doug Jones has built a silent following in the last 3 years, the GOP is pretty confident they can win as long as they pick the right candidate. Fortunately for the GOP Doug Jones approval rating is not incredibly impressive.

3. Maine- Incumbent: Senator Susan Collins (Republican)
In the midst of the Supreme Court ruling for Gay and Transgender rights in the workplace, the democrats made a specific effort to put it back in the limelight that Susan Collins had helped confirm Brett Kavanaugh into the Supreme Court.
Why does that matter? Because Maine is generally a blue state and generally pro-gay rights. And Brett Kavanaugh was one of the judges to vote against the ruling.
Which is why Susan Collins tweeted this out in support of the newly passed legislation –

Still, numerous Democratic senators and advisors wasted no time taking to Twitter to be sure that Maine understood the connection here. That Susan Collins helped Brett Kavanaugh get confirmed as a Supreme Court Justice, and that same Brett Kavanaugh voted no against gay-rights.

Democrats trying so hard to drive this point proves how crucial they see this senate seat. And why it is one of the most important seats in the 2020 Senate Elections. If they can continue to rally Democrats in Maine based off the Brett Kavanaugh situation, then Susan Collins may be in trouble. By and large Maine is a liberal state.

Democratic voice is too strong in the Northeast. Susan Collins will never be able to recover in Maine if she is blacklisted by the LGBTQ community. Plus democratic voters have three candidates to choose from. They will get behind one that they like and Senator Susan Collins will lose her seat. In a state like Maine you won’t win in the 2020 Senate Elections without the LGBT behind you.
2. North Carolina- Incumbent: Thom Tillis (Republican)
When you look deeper into the North Carolina Senate primaries, you can see there is a lot of division on the democratic side.

Now all that being said, Senator Thom Tillis is the incumbent. Higher recognition and an easier primary would be expected. It’s the division of Democratic voters in North Carolina that will concern the DNC.
So based on the charts above you would think Tillis would be a lock. But here is where it becomes a toss-up.

The democrats had 400,000 more voters come out for their primary. Which is huge considering the two primaries combined had a total of around 2 million votes.
In fact, Cal Cunningham had more total votes in his primary than Senator Thom Tillis did. Despite Tillis winning 78% of the vote.
BUT
If the presidential election of 2016 has taught us anything, it’s that party voters get upset when their horse doesn’t win the race. So much so, that they will vote for a different party in the real race. Or they won’t show up to the real race at all.
Clearly there was division among the party between Cal Cunningham and Erica D. Smith.
Erica D. Smith is a state senator for North Carolina. She went to Howard University, from North Carolina herself, and currently represents District 3 of the state. Smith has a strong following from minority groups as well as a big popularity among non-minority left-leaning residents of the district. A district with a population of 750,000.

Cal Cunningham is the prototype of the younger republican candidate. Mid 40s, very bland, but somehow still charismatic. Only problem is, he’s not a republican. His stories of being born and raised in North Carolina and time as a lieutenant colonel in the United States Army Reserve doesn’t get him as much automatic support from the left as it would from the right. And I am forced to fall on these generalizations because the recent news also shows nothing about Cal Cunningham. Another bad sign for the candidate running in one of the most important 2020 Senate Elections.

Our Prediction For the North Carolina 2020 Senate Election
Erica D Smith was going for the AOC long-shot. Most likely she campaigned hard in her district and had her people show up, unfortunately it wasn’t enough. But without a doubt it inflated the amount of votes.
On the flip-side, Senator Thim Tillis had less total votes, but his competition had no die hard fan base. Those voters who voted for other republicans are voting for an ideology more than a person. They themselves would admit that in the end they still would go out and vote for Thim Tillis in the 2020 Senate Election.
The Whole Gang
Millions of voters will show up for the final senate election. Cal Cunningham won’t even get half of Smith’s votes. Most will vote independent or stay home. For that reason it is better to go off the percentages. It will be a nail biter for sure, but Thim Tillis will most likely hang onto his seat.
1. Colorado- Incumbent: Senator Cory Gardner (Republican)
Senator Cory Gardner has already went in heavy on the ads. And the attacks too.
“Weeks after a six-figure ad buy that highlighted his pandemic recovery efforts, the campaign of Sen. Cory Gardner has run its first attack ad. Democrat John Hickenlooper’s own words are used against him in the ad simply titled “Delight.”
The new six-figure ad buy will run on television stations across Colorado for the next two weeks. It features the Republican sitting in what looks like a therapist’s chair looking at a TV screen which shows a series of news clips from Hickenlooper, the former governor and presidential candidate discussing a possible Senate bid.

“I don’t think I’m cut out for that.”
“It would be a huge sacrifice.”

It does seem a little early to go in on the attacks. Senator Cory Gardner should consider holding off before appearing too arrogant or bully-ish to voters.

Both are well known Democrats. John Hickenlooper is the former Governor of Colorado. And actually the only reason he’s not locked in as the 2020 Senate Elections candidate, is because the DNC is considering having him go for a presidential bid. He will have until June 30th to set up a primary election with Andrew Romanoff.
Andrew Romanoff is a well known politician in Colorado as well. He was a speaker in the state House of Representatives for Colorado, and he has run for Senator in 2010 and the U.S. House of Reps in 2014.

“If John Hickenlooper decides to run in the 2020 Senate Elections it will be over before it starts. Hickenlooper has a lot of support across all of Colorado, having a successful run as governor of the state. On top of that, the state as a whole is shifting towards the left.
Though Republican presidential nominees have carried Colorado in 10 of the last 15 elections, the state has been generally competitive for years. More recently, however, it has been sliding away from the GOP.
Last year, Democrats retained the state’s open governorship, took over the offices of attorney general, state treasurer and secretary of state, and gained a new congressional seat. The party also flipped the state Senate.

If Andrew Romanoff wins the primaries, then it will be a lot closer of a race. That 0-2 record in big-time elections is not a good look. Clearly he’s not doing something right.
Still, the state is shifting blue as a whole and regardless of who ends up being the Democratic nominee, they will win the election and take Gardner’s seat in the house.

As everyone already knows, the market is a different place. Retail investors now make up almost a majority of daily trades. American Airlines ($AAL) opened this morning at $18.78. They closed at $17.03. Currently, in after hours, they are at around $16.50. A tremendous drop in one trading day. Share holders were not happy considering much of the activity took place outside of trading hours where they had no control.

1. They Are Doing Fine Financially, And Travel Is Coming Back
American Airlines is a real company, a real stock.
“For example, American Airlines presented a table showing that its traffic numbers had increased to 129,000 per day by mid-June. This is up from 31,000 per day in April. No other airline is providing this information.
Moreover, American said its load factor is now up to 62% by June 8. The company is also planning to fly 55% of its total U.S. schedule in July compared to last year.
It looks like it can afford this. For example, assuming $20 million per day over the next six months would cost $3.6 billion to $4 billion overall. Even if the average rate was $30 million per day over six months, it would cost $5.5 billion. But American Airlines says it has three ways to cover that.
First, its cash liquidity will be $6.25 billion by June 30. Second, it expects to receive a government CARES Act loan of $4.75 billion, for a total of $11 billion by the end of Q2. Third, American Airlines showed in the statement that it has over $11.1 billion in unencumbered assets that become collateral for additional loans.

That’s right, Trump has proposed a stimulus package that will give $4,000 to each American ONLY to be spent on travel. If this were to get passed cruise lines and air lines share values would explode.

Everything else aside, the analytics are in favor of American Airlines stock heading upwards.

It’s no surprise that the 2020 Senate elections are going to be heated. As of now, the GOP has majority control of the Senate. Coming into a year in which we don’t know who the future president will be, controlling your Senate majority becomes an upmost priority. If Trump lost the general election, and the GOP lost senate majority, it would be open season for he Democrats. Which is why Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has been so active in the media of late. With every seat meaning so much, it’s surprising to see that the GOP is not going into the closet of Senator Dick Durbin to drag a few of his skeletons back out.
Senator Dick Durbin is, according to analysts, essentially safe in this election as an incumbent. He has been a senator since 1997. This would be his 5th term. He won’t be campaigning too hard, he’ll likely spend most of his time endorsing other democratic candidates in the swing elections.
I’m not sure why people like Dick Durbin get labeled as “safe incumbents” after 2-3 terms and everyone just accepts that. I’m not even a Trump supporter but I’ll say it, Durbin is an easy target for Trump and the GOP. They could annihilate him and take that seat.
Like I said I’m not the biggest Trump guy (if it’s him or Biden though who knows), but I also don’t like any politicians with a sloppy past. That’s why I like people like Bernie. And why even as a democrat I could never vote for Hillary Clinton. She flip-flopped on every issue multiple times in her career. How can you trust that?
Same applies to Dick Durbin. And there are many ways that the GOP could have Senator Dick Durbin lose this election if the Democrats get to comfortable.
Bring Back “Drain The Swamp” Hype
Off the bat if the Trump administrations main goal is to “drain the swamp”, Trump could easily put Durbin on blast and paint him as the epitome of why we need to drain the swamp. And whether it’s true or not, it would work. In office since 1997, old, and he is the official Minority Whip in the Senate.
In case you are unfamiliar with the title “Minority Whip”, here is the definition from the Official Senate Website –
“Assistants to the floor leaders who are also elected by their party conferences. The majority and minority whips (and their assistants) are responsible for mobilizing votes within their parties on major issues. In the absence of a party floor leader, the whip often serves as acting floor leader.”
So basically they are sort of the VP for the floor leader. Except they don’t take over the responsibility when the guy dies, they take over the responsibility of anytime he isn’t in the room.

Definition of a cog in the wheel. When the leader isn’t available, Dick Durbin takes over and his only job is to push the agenda of the party and collect votes for said agenda. He is not a man of opinion. A “component of the swamp” as the Trump administration would say.
Recent Uptick In Low-Income/Minority Compassion
Senator Dick Durbin has recently taken a big interest in Coronavirus pandemic awareness as well as making sure funds are being given to low-income families. Ideally, this is just a noble move on his part. But unfortunately it is likely that he made sure his name was such a big part of both the Unemployment and Telehealth bills in Illinois.
As a democratic senator in Illinois, moves like this make him favorable to low income communities inside and outside of Chicago.

Phase 2, which started Friday, June 5th, has allowed bars, movie theaters, concert halls, auditoriums, arcades, bowling alleys, etc. to reopen at 50% capacity with appropriate social distancing practices.
