The old expression rings true here. Give ’em an inch, and they will take a mile. Well the Antifa rioters in Portland have done just that. First they had their boxed off area. They expanded.
Now, the Antifa division leader of Portland, Sammie Miles, has declared to Portland officials the city is no loner under their control.
Sammie Miles reportedly screamed outside the Portland Police Union “The old establishment burns, we are the new establishment. Portland is ours, a sovereign nation. Sovereign nation! We do not listen to your rules!”
It was around this time that the Portland Police Department was ready to declare this a “riot” instead of a protest.
There has been plenty of discussion from Antifa supporters in regards to the “kidnappings” taking place in Portland. Videos showing police officers throwing rioters into vans started circulating.
However it is hard to imagine that tensions between police and Portland protestors, no declared rioters, has become frustrating.

It’s time to call in some actual back-up. Portland has lost control of it’s city.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage has been done so far. Civilians and police officer alike injured. Portland is beginning to look less like a protest or a riot. And more like a revolution.

In 1956, Jackie Robinson played his final game in the MLB. On that day, 6.7% of MLB players were black or biracial. Today that number is 7.7%. An increase of just 1%. Some analysts attribute this to a lack of interest in baseball. A small analytics group based out of New Hampshire has a different theory. That baseball culture and the MLB still carries a slight racial bias. The analytics group points to a higher number of called strikes for Black MLB players as evidence.
The analytics group from Dartmouth has yet to release their final findings, but they have already reported they have more than enough evidence to prove a bias does exist.
Most of the evidence lies in a comparison of the top strikeout leaders. There is a disproportionate amount of black MLB players on the leader board. And a large amount of them were called third strikes outside the zone. Dartmouth says they have game footage to back up their claims.
This gives weight to the theory that black MLB players are seeing more called strikes due to a racial prejudice that the MLB has yet to grow out of.

This data alone has lead many analysts to speculate that there is still a negative racial aura that surrounds the American baseball field.
A negative aura that should be phased out in the next decade or so, but still, one that may have indirectly turned a lot of black children or even younger off from baseball.
The Silence Of The MLB
Of all the major sports leagues, the MLB has been the least involved with BLM movements. Mostly due to the fact that they have had the luxury of being able to avoid it. The league still has less than 10% black players, while black NBA and NFL players make the majority.
Aaron Judge was the first to speak out after seeing players from the San Francisco Giants take a knee during the National Anthem.
“That’s the beauty of America, is freedom of speech and freedom to express yourself,” Judge said Tuesday. “We got a special platform being athletes and being able to speak our mind and speak what’s going on in this world. Some people express it online. Some people express it with words. Some people kneel.” – ESPN
Aside from Judge’s statement, there has been little to no BLM or National Anthem protests in the MLB.
Tensions between the black and Jewish community may be higher than ever before.
Recent posts and statements from prominent members of the black community have been circulating a theory that blacks are the true Hebrews. That the Jewish people essentially “stole their spot” so to speak, and have tricked the rest of the world into believing it. These initial statements have spiraled into a deep tension. Tapping into and revealing a divisive belief that has quietly been held for some time now among certain communities.
DeSean Jackson
It all started with an Instagram post from Philadelphia Eagle’s wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
The well-known athlete posted a picture to his Instagram story highlighting sections of a book he was reading. Although many sources have deemed the quote false, the sentiment DeSean felt towards the Jewish community was clear. The accuracy of the quote is irrelevant to the bigger picture.
After facing criticism online he told his followers he has no hatred in his heart towards anyone. He then proceeded to double down and focus on a specific highlighted section.
The quote below that was highlighted by DeSean displays a common form of antisemitism. The belief that the Jewish community is working towards world domination. Those who believe in this Zionist idea will point to credit cards, and their influence in banks and media as evidence of this.
Jewish people are used to hearing this version of antisemitism. But the next point is a new one. At least to me it is. The theory that black people are the true Hebrews. And they are God’s chosen people, a spot that was stolen from them by the Jewish people.
I’m honestly not sure if that claim can technically be labeled “antisemetic”. Since he is implying that he would be one of the “true Hebrews”. Regardless, “Blacks are the real Jews” is DEFINITELY the hottest take most of us have heard all summer. So unsurprisingly the internet searches on Black Hebrews were going through the roof.
DeSean Jackson eventually made a public apology. Allegedly due to a plea from his organization to apologize for PR reasons.
This however was not enough for many members of the Jewish Community. Many of which were surprised to see no action by the NFL. There was also no athletes or coaches in the league voicing disapproval for DeSean’s actions. (This however could have been largely due to a lack of interest in the topic, rather than hate. In the the entire history of the NFL there have only been a total of 64 Jewish players).
The silence among the league and country was concerning to many members of the Jewish community. Especially when others starting chiming in on Twitter and Instagram supporting DeSean’s claims.
Suddenly there was a strange, surreal moment. Where it seemed the black community and white supremacists were in a sort of agreement. Members of both sides were armed with alleged articles and research. A claim that most had deemed absurd, was now revealing itself to be a belief held by many. Hidden for a while.
Soon Jewish people were posting back in retaliation to the claims. Words like Zionist, antisemitism, all those great buzz words started getting thrown around. And the battle had begun.
On his YouTube talk show “Cannon’s Class”, Nick Cannon echoed similar beliefs to DeSean Jackson.
“Cannon adds that black people are “true Hebrews” and praises the controversial Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.
“The people that don’t have [melanin] are a little less,” Cannon also notes, claiming that “when they were sent to the mountains of Caucasus … The sun then started to deteriorate them so then, they’re acting out of fear, they’re acting out of low self-esteem, they’re acting out of a deficiency.” – Source
Nick Cannon was fired from Viacom shortly after. Leading black twitter to start the trending hashtag #CancelViacom.
In an attempt to defuse, Nick Cannon tried to apologize to the Jewish Community. He was then met with backlash from both sides.
I hurt an entire community and it pained me to my core, I thought it couldn’t get any worse. Then I watched my own community turn on me and call me a sell-out for apologizing. Goodnight. Enjoy Earth???
Now he looks suicidal almost in that tweet…Side note someone please check on him. I think most can agree Nick Cannon is most likely a well intentioned person who accidentally got in over his head. And maybe didn’t understand just how tense things were between blacks and Jews.
Oshry Sisters Clap Back
A member of the Oshry family took to Instagram in defense of the Jewish community. She posted a slide show that was re-shared by thousands of Jewish and non-Jewish people.

Now while I do see the point trying to be made here, that top circle has always been there. And members of the Jewish community have openly said they want Islamic people dead. Including the Oshry sisters own mother.
Many people argued that “Mainstream Antisemitism” is non-existent. Pointing to the large majority of Jewish people in media and Hollywood to back that view up. One user explained that Nick Cannon being fired was case and point of this.
As for the far-right and far-left, well, everyone is a little scared of them. But I do understand that it is scary now to see all four fronts coming at your identity so aggressively.
Again the numbers on this slide aren’t *inaccurate*, but to many online who are believers of Farrakhan and this movement found this to be a moot point.
Mostly because many of these public figures named are signed to studios or work with an agency that would never support any type of antisemitism. Some referred to these charts as “cherry picked”.
And here is the last slide and point I am going to bring up. This pie chart highlights the percentage of religion based hate crimes.
(Why she felt the need to also mention that anti-Islamic hate crimes occur less I do not know. Kind of goes against her whole original point which was “You can be an activist for everyone at the same time”.)
Unsurprisingly, the black community did not want to hear about experience Jewish people have in the field of “hate crimes”. A term that has almost become synonymous with the black community due to the high levels of police brutality that occurred through American history towards them.
This of course lead to further tensions. Black people calling Jews privileged would be one of the nicer tweets you would see.
Also, if we are going to break down hate crimes by religion, (and you are not going to include blacks who were Catholic/Christian) then I think most would have guessed it’s probably around a 50/50 split between Islam and Judaism.
But the Oshry sisters made sure we all knew that anti-Islamic hate crimes only occur 14.5% of the time. And this obsession with dividing up religion and who has it worse brings me to my final point.
Who Cares?
Not about Jewish safety. I care about everyone’s safety. But I really don’t care about your religious beliefs. I respect your right to practice them, but as an American I am allowed to say I believe all religion is silly. All religious people have to respect that as well.
I am not atheist. And not against people practicing religion. However I am against people dying over it.
Seriously, can we stop arguing about who is the chosen one and what happens after we die? And instead maybe focus on this life?
The soft-spoken wishy-washy mayor of New York City that no one even remembers electing really showed his true colors yesterday during his press conference yesterday. Never in my life have I seen a politician, let alone the mayor of NYC, avoid taking a position as adamantly as he did. What is important to you mayor de Blasio? Because aside from trying to appease everyone to secure reelection I really can’t name one position or stance you are passionate about. Mayor de Blasio has no spine or stances and New Yorker’s need to realize that. Because things are getting bad.
Like this quote from 2001, clearly he was just falling on identity politics. All he does is shout that he’s a liberal and pretend to be all about civil rights, until the NYPD gets mad at him then he’s a moderate conservative for a few weeks.
And that’s not from lack of research, it’s from this man constantly playing both sides of the coin. Working so carefully to not step on anyone or any groups toes. The mayor of NYC needs to be decisive. Are you enacting a stay at home order or do you respect the protests and think they are more important? That was the ONLY question NYC wanted to hear from you. Instead we got to hear this babble of nonsense.

There’s over eight million people in the city and the people out right now number in the hundreds, and they’re being dealt with by the NYPD.” – CNN
Very few people?? You go on air to talk to us and you just deny that it is happening?
First of all, yes he did look high. But it was past his bedtime so we can let that slide. But what do you mean very few people? Are you in the Hampton’s or something right now? Union Square was actually on fire.
And let’s not forget we are also supposedly mid-pandemic. Because Cuomo sure hasn’t. He reminds us every morning how it’s going to kill us all. And mayor de Blasio was agreeing with him all the time. But now his main voter base is protesting so making sure they get treated fairly is more important that talking about the Molotov cocktails that were thrown into police cars.

‘He said that many of those demonstrators are “not from communities of color” and have a “warped ideology” that leads them to “harming working people who are police officers.”
He did not specify how he knew protesters came from out of town, but said his administration would provide details as police processed arrests.
“People who represent the communities of our city and the residents of our city are not joining negative and violent protests,” he said. “You can see it with your own eyes.”’ – Politico
Yes, this is a real quote. No, nobody knows what it means. Unless he meant Olive Garden?
So not only does he not have proof that the violent protesters are from out of town, there is no way to know that and to make a blanket statement like that is so clearly wrong it’s just stupid. You’re telling me not a SINGLE violent protestor was from their respective neighborhood? How could you possibly know that?
But more importantly, why does it matter! Who cares if they are from out of town. Union Square is LITERALLY on fire. If you are going to go live and waste our time listening to you at least give some kind of safety advice or something relevant. Don’t just go up and lie, he said there were no reports of broken windows while the NYPD already had reported over 200 of them.
THEN mayor de Blasio goes on to demand swift punishment for every officer that touched a protestor, but completely ignored the police van (that could have been holding up to 10 people) that was blown up with Molotov cocktails.
The two women behind the van explosion have been apprehended and are being charged with attempted murder.
NYPD and their supporters were not happy with de Blasio’s apparent level of priorities.

This man needs to step up and be someone. Whether we like those views or not, he needs to start having some. Because this back and forth everyone is right everyone is wrong strategy is getting NYC nowhere. Take a stand de Blasio, in either direction, pro-police or pro-reform, or even double down on the pandemic and order a strict stay at home. But get this madness taken care of. Get your city under control.
The plot has thickened. The NYC fireworks mystery has taken a left turn. One of the popular conspiracies already was that this was an NYPD protest. Which would explain the extremely low response rate to firework calls. Despite how aggressive they are getting.

I think everyone can agree that a member of the FDNY knows better than to shoot off fireworks at 11:30 at night. Right outside the station. During a time when firework complaints have spiked by 4000%.
And I don’t think the member of the FDNY came over because he didn’t understand. Although I’m sure that’s the image he wanted to give off at the time. But watch the video. They light it, turn, see the car and hide behind the wall. They know they shouldn’t be doing it.
So Why In The World Are Members Of The FDNY Partaking In The Fireworks
Three Possible Theories
1. The fireworks actually are a secret NYPD protest strategy. This would explain the low response rate to firework calls. AND officers not arresting firework smugglers. Or questioning them. So maybe, FDNY is doing fireworks as well in support.
2. The fireworks are a city wide protest for all emergency personnel.
3. (And most likely) The fireworks have become a symbol of anarchy. And anyone who is unhappy right now, even if it is for different reasons, is shooting off fireworks to try and express that.

So this bill is going to be vetoed by Trump, for the sole reason that it does not benefit his chances at re-election.
This isn’t even reading between the lines. He literally said it.
“Mail-in ballots is subject to tremendous corruption. Tremendous corruption, cheating. And so I’m against it,” Trump said. “And if you look at the bill that Nancy Pelosi is putting in, it has a lot to do with elections. We’re not going to lose elections because of that.” – NBC News
Let’s forget for a second that American’s are losing their jobs and homes on a daily basis. The greater outcome of this bill is an urgent relief package that is desperately needed right now. It’s something that both parties agree on, yet Trump will veto it because it does not personally benefit him. Even though it would benefit hundreds of millions of Americans. That’s a huge issue, and I think it’s also the biggest take away here.
We are noticing it now more than ever because these stimulus packages are urgent, but this bill could have been about saving penguins. It wouldn’t matter, it would still go back and forth as senators and house reps add in their own stipulations to appease their lobbyists and the bill goes around and around and maybe gets passed. So when it comes to saving the penguins fine they can argue all day. But our Congress needs to learn which bills can’t be used for partisan agendas. The last Coronavirus stimulus package came about a month too late for many Americans and it looks like the same thing will happen on the second round.
But the part that is most frustrating.
Nancy Pelosi added in a stipulation that absentee mail in ballots are an options extended to every citizen. Which should have been in place already.
Why are we voting down a bill that helps the American people financially and at the same time makes voting easier. (You know, the thing this country was founded on).
So once again the American people are held hostage as Trump and Pelosi battle it out again.
Hopefully Nancy Pelosi drops the voting stipulations for the time being, someone needs to be the bigger person and let this bill get passed. Americans are in urgent need.
Ilhan Omar announced to the public today that her father had died due to complications that stemming from Coronavirus.
“Rep. Ilhan Omar’s father died on Monday from complications of coronavirus, the congresswoman announced.
The Minnesota Democrat released a statement that said Nur Omar Mohamed had passed earlier in the day after battling the virus that has sparked a worldwide pandemic. He was 67 years old.” – NY Post
This is obviously extremely tragic news and hopefully politics can be put aside for a moment and sympathy can be shown toward Ilhan Omar and her family during this time.

There is usually no need to speak ill of the dead. Especially someone like Ilhan Omar’s father who died from Coronavirus at the age of 67. He was someone most people in the political sphere were unaware of until his diagnosis. It wouldn’t make much sense anyway to speak badly about Ilhan Omar’s policies and beliefs, her father is not a representative.

Regardless of the suspicions behind Ilhan Omar and her brother, or views on her platform, her father still died from Coronavirus very recently.

I think that at least for now, comments like the one above are definitely not in good taste.
“DENVER — Lyft driver kidnaps female passenger over the weekend. A local mother says her Lyft ride home turned into racial harassment and attempted kidnapping as the driver veered off the route.

Lizbeth Ligon was taking a flight from Sacramento back to Denver, where her husband and 3 kids live. Her flight was already delayed and Ligon was very anxious to see her kids who had been missing her. Ligon called a Lyft at around 8pm that night once her light landed.
She entered the car while on the phone with a business colleague, but before long she knew something was up.
“He tilted his rear-view mirror down, so it was looking down on me directly,” Ligon said. She says that made her uncomfortable but she stayed on the phone, until she says the driver gave an unprompted, racist outburst.
“He just shouted out in a very loud voice, he said, ‘You f—ing Mexican.’ And I was so stunned and I said, ‘Excuse me?’ And my friend on the phone said, ‘What did he just say?’” – Source
Shortly after this alarming outburst, the driver made an extremely sharp left across multiple lanes of traffic turning onto a side road off of Pena Boulevard. This was a road that Lizbeth Ligon was unfamiliar with and immediately she began to panic. And understandably so, such erratic and violent behavior after dropping aggressive racial slurs is clearly a dangerous situation. Unfortunately things only got worse.
According to Ligon it was pitch black and the driver had turned his headlines off as they made another turn down a second side road, this one was a dirt road with no marked street sign. Ligon tried to reason with the driver in a last attempt and was told by the driver that “the ride would end on his terms.”
“I said, ‘Where are you going? I’ve never been taken home this way. What app are you using?’” Ligon said.
Ligon says the man answered with expletives and told her the ride would end on his terms. With that, she grabbed the car door to get out.” – Source
The expletives and the racial slurs did not stop. According to the victim the driver had told her that she did not belong in the country, and if she didn’t start speaking English properly she would drive both of them into the river. The driver than stopped inches before the cliff, giving Lizbeth Ligon just enough time to escape.
“Ligon says the driver slammed on the brakes and she was finally able to get out of the car.
“He was telling me I didn’t belong in this country, telling me I didn’t know how to speak English – he was just out of control,” Ligon said. “A Lyft driver kidnaps a female passenger and on top of that it was racially motivated.
She says the driver turned off his headlights and then drove away. She called police. The Denver Police Department says this is an open and active investigation.” – Source
Lizbeth was able to escape but when she called the Denver police and they began their investigation, the news she received a few days later was scarier than she expected.
“Ligon was told by a detective the man gave a fictitious address to Lyft and is proving hard to track down. She worries he could be driving for another company. Ultimately, she hopes others pay close attention while using ride-share apps.” – Source

Lyft has released an official statement regarding the incident.
“Lyft has a strict anti-discrimination policy and we are committed to maintaining an inclusive and welcoming community. The behavior described is completely at odds with our values as a company. We have permanently banned the driver from the Lyft platform, reached out to the passenger to offer our support, and reached out to law enforcement to assist with their investigation,” – Lyft
As of now it is unclear if the driver gave an incorrect address, or if he was never a driver for Lyft at all. The allegations against Trump in regards to working with Russia in the 2016 election have been disproved, and as expected, the president is looking for recognition. The president quickly coined the term “Obamagate”. Which has become synonymous with the false accusations. We have heard the term Obamagate get thrown a lot, but no one expected Joe Biden to be the mastermind behind Obamagate. Or the mastermind behind much for that matter.
The term allegations is used lightly here as the courts dismissed them. I don’t even know why Biden would WANT the credit for this. It failed. And made the DNC look bad.
In the first quarter of 2017, Trump accused Obama of illegally wiretapping Trump Tower during 2016 presidential election campaign. Trump claimed Obama had no reason to believe the meeting was about a counterintelligence investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 elections. The courts agreed. As usual, the Obama administration brought Trump to further political prominence.
Now recently, Obama starts trash talking Trump’s Coronavirus pandemic response as an absolute chaotic disaster. Trump, the Twitter warrior he is, did what we all expected.
Joe Biden and other Democrats dispersed Trump’s speeches and comments on Obamagate as a distraction by Trump to divert attention from growing criticism of his handling of the Coronavirus crisis and have slammed Trump as a president who doesn’t bring the country together.

Because of his family’s personal tragedies, health is the greatest asset that he can offer to America: He lost his first wife and an infant daughter in a car accident in 1972, and in 2015, his son Beau Biden died of brain cancer. Politicians such as, Bernie Sanders, Barack Obama and Elizabeth Warren endorsed Mr. Joe Biden. Knowing that Joe Biden is likely the mastermind behind Obamagate.

Mr. Obama did not endorse Mr. Biden until the primary race was settled, but he and Mr. Biden forged a close relationship in his administration. Mr. Biden talks about their friendship frequently, as well as the work they did together on issues ranging from health care to foreign policy.
Some of Mr. Biden’s biggest applause at campaign events came as he praised Mr. Obama. This is to show that his dream of upgrading the Obamacare was going well. And many Democratic voters, especially African-American voters, have cited his relationship with Mr. Obama and nostalgia for that administration in explaining their current support for Mr. Biden.
The Pandemic seems to be affecting Mr. Biden’s political dream to become President as he awaits his fate as he is staying safe at home. Still if Joe Biden was the mastermind behind Obamagate, then losing the election would be his own doing.
Joe Biden could be seen as the mastermind of Obamagate because of his close relationship with former president Obama. The duo seem to be great buddies. They exercise together, watch games together, play golf together, do daddy duties together etc. There bonding worries Republicans and President Trump might not be fascinated with this as he is not a supporter of Obama. The Obama/Biden have spiked lots of attentions are they are not ashamed of their fondness in front of a crowd full of people.
The President of the United States will always see something odd in Mr. Biden as Biden has been a great counterpart with Obamagate, the false allegations concocted will always be a part of Joe Biden because of his audacious relationship with the former president Obama and he will always be called the Mastermind behind Obamagate while he has an interest in running for office of the President of the United States and his plans to redevelop Obamacare.
